What is Loop Recording?
Posted by David - DriverCam
Loop recording keeps your dashcam running continuously, even when the memory card is full. Instead of stopping when storage runs out, the dashcam automatically overwrites the oldest, non-locked files with new footage, so it never misses a moment.
The camera records in short clips, usually one to five minutes long. When space runs out, it deletes the oldest unlocked clips while keeping any locked or event files safe — such as accident footage or manual saves.
With loop recording, you don’t have to manage files or worry about storage limits. Your dashcam always has the most recent footage ready, ensuring uninterrupted protection and complete peace of mind.
