Hybrid Parking Mode Explained - VIOFO A329S Series

I'm trying to access Hybrid Parking Mode in the APP but a message says "No HK6 hardwire kit detected" or "Please use the HK6 hardwire cable"

First of all an HK6 Hardwire Kit is required to enable any Hybrid Parking Mode using the A329S series models. Please ensure the vehicles ignition is switched on, as the HK6 is only detected by the dashcam when the ignition is on.

Try force quitting the APP on your mobile, with your engine running, let the dashcam power up and listen for ‘recording started’, then open the APP. The HK6 should then be detected. 

How does Hybrid Parking Mode Activate? 

Hybrid parking mode is made up of 2 parking recording modes. The first mode requires a trigger for it to then recognize and switch to the next parking recording mode (e.g. Auto Event Detection is parking mode 1 and then Low Power Impact Mode is parking mode 2). For the A329S to switch from parking mode 1 to parking mode 2, it uses the parking recording timer.

Once the correct timer setting is selected and saved (e.g. 1 hour), the dashcam will start recording in auto event detection mode for 1 hour, and then switch to low power impact mode because the timer was set to one hour.

The key benefit of Hybrid Parking Mode is that you get the most complete, highest level of detection, and the longest parking recording time. When the dashcam switches to low power impact detection mode, the power consumption suddenly drops to dramatically extend the parking mode recording time for your vehicle. This ensures peace of mind when leaving your vehicle when its parked.
