Refund Policy

Change of Mind or Wrong Selection

If an incorrect product is ordered or you changed your mind, it may be refunded, returned or replaced within 14 days of purchase. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, DriverCam can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return:
  • the item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it;
  • the item must be in the original packaging including instruction manuals and all accessories;
  • proof of purchase is required.

If these requirements are not satisfied, DriverCam reserves the right not to offer a refund or replacement for change of mind or wrong selection returns.

Please email us with your order details to arrange an exchange, return or refund. A refund (less 3% transaction fee) will be processed to your credit card or bank account. A refund will be processed once products are received and inspected within 5 days. Return postage will be paid by the customer.

Gift cards are non-returnable.

Incorrect Fulfilment

If you have received an incorrect item(s), please accept our apologies and contact us. Return postage will be paid by DriverCam.

Damaged or Lost in Transit

DriverCam uses CourierPost for shipping nationwide and provides sufficient packaging that aims to minimise damage during delivery. That said, stuff happens. If your order arrived damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. If your order does not arrive, please contact us in 5 business days after confirmation of purchase. Based on the circumstances, DriverCam will offer you either repair or replacement of your order or a full refund.

Faulty Product

If the product you have bought is faulty, DriverCam will provide a remedy (replace, repair or refund) as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act. Please email us to notify about the issue. Please include your invoice number and, if possible, provide photo or videos evidence of the fault(s). DriverCam will reimburse you for the return postage.

Once your returned item arrives back to us, DriverCam will confirm the receipt and inspect it. Then we will notify you of the next steps would that be repair, replacement, refund or rejection of the item within 14 days.

All the products sold at DriverCam come with a minimum 1-year manufacturer warranty and the accessories typically have a 6-months warranty (please refer to the individual listings for details or contact us to confirm). The warranty does not cover damage or misuse. If the product is out of warranty, then we can still have the product repaired, however, the cost of the repair will be charged to the customer.

On inspection, if we deem the fault to be due to damage or misuse, we may not issue a replacement or refund. If it is approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 days.
If it is approved for a replacement, then a replaced item of identical type will be shipped to you within 2 days. Please note, in some cases, we may not be able to repair or replace your product due to availability or discontinuation of that particular item. In this case, we'll offer a similar-spec product or a refund.
If the item is approved for repair, then it will be repaired by a trusted repairer or manufacturer within a reasonable amount of time.
To provide a remedy, DriverCam requires proof of purchase.

Please note, if you are acquiring goods for business or commercial purposes as defined in Sections 2 and 43 of the CGA, you agree that the consumer guarantees provided for in the CGA will not apply to the supply of those goods.
