Service & Repairs

Out of Warranty Repairs

If the product is out of warranty, we can still arrange to have the product assessed and repaired.

The first step is to arrange to return the product to DriverCam, please email sales@drivercam.co.nz.

You are responsible for the costs of returning your product.

DriverCam will undertake bench testing and drive testing and contact you with our assessment which may include a recommendation to return the item to the manufacturer for repair to componentry not held in NZ. Our minimum charge is $90+GST which must be paid in full prior to the return of the product. 

If your product does need to be returned to the manufacturer for repair out of warranty DriverCam will coordinate and liaise with the manufacturer on your behalf, please note that you will be responsible for the costs of freight to return the item to the manufacturer in South Korea/China and the manufacturer's repair and spare parts charges.

The customer must pay in advance to DriverCam the freight charges plus the manufacturer's minimum service charge of NZ$90+GST.  In the event that the final costs exceed these charges you will be responsible for these costs which must be paid to DriverCam before the product is returned. 

Please note, if you are acquiring goods for business or commercial purposes as defined in Sections 2 and 43 of the CGA, you agree that the consumer guarantees provided for in the CGA will not apply to the supply of those goods.
