GPS in Dashcams
Posted by David - DriverCam
GPS (Global Positioning System) allows a compatible dashcam to record your vehicle's location, speed, direction of travel, and route alongside the video footage. This information is embedded into the recording and can be viewed later using the manufacturer's playback software or app. GPS data can provide valuable context if footage is used to review a journey, investigate an incident, or verify where and when an event occurred.
