Front+Rear+Interior Facing (2-3 Camera System)
A 3 Camera System has 2 cameras fitted to the front windscreen, 1 facing forward recording that view and the second facing inwards recording what’s going on inside the vehicle.
There are benefits to all drivers from capturing what 'occurs' inside the vehicle, however they are particularly beneficial for drivers of vehicles that transport others and truck drivers responsible for heavy and complex loads.
The 3rd camera is attached either to the rear windscreen or externally to record the rear view. These systems (models) provide an extra level of protection by the camera recording incidents caused by drivers approaching from behind. These systems can also capture incidents when your vehicle is parked, which often occurs when you’re not present. Sadly, those drivers are often those that ‘hit and run’ and it can also be a deterrent to thieves.
All 3 cameras are all connected so the recording is stored in one location. With a mobile connection and a small add on accessory, recordings can automatically be stored in the cloud.
In short a Front, Rear and Interior facing camera system can provide a recording that in the event of an accident can prove who was at fault, avoid the prosecution of innocent parties and recover costs from those responsible for causing the accident.
DriverCam's range of camera systems have been selected as a result of their many years of research and ‘hands on’ practical experience gained during installations.
