Released in March 2023 the new DR770X-1CH is the successor to the popular DR750X-1CH Plus. An upgrade to the CPU provides an improvement in image quality over the 750X-1CH Plus, offering clearer details in challenging lighting conditions.

The DR770X-1CH is a single-channel dashcam with BlackVue Cloud connectivity.

The back-illuminated Full HD Sony STARVIS™ image sensor provides incomparable image quality under any light, augmented by BlackVue’s expert image signal processor (ISP) tuning.

This dashcam comes with built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and native Parking Mode support via the included hardwiring cable.

60 Frames Per Second Video Recording: The front-facing camera records extra fluid videos at 60 frames per second, keeping all details sharp even in fast action. With 60fps, motion blur is much reduced compared to 30fps. That means your BlackVue can better capture details, like license plates when travelling at speed.

Night Footage Never Looked This Good: The back-illuminated STARVIS image sensors produce clear details in both shadows and highlights thanks to high sensitivity and wide dynamic range.

Wi-Fi: Download videos to your phone at blazing speed. Wi-Fi also lets your BlackVue connect to BlackVue Cloud via any home or mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (router).

GPS: Visualize the location of your vehicle on the map during video playback and overlay speed on videos (can be hidden in settings).

Built-in Impact & Motion Detection: While driving, the built-in accelerometer (G-sensor) detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, your BlackVue also detects visual movements around your vehicles (in Motion + Impact detection mode).

Parking Protection Mode: Using the included hardwiring cable, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your car is under protection while you are away. The dashcam automatically switches into Parking Mode to monitor your parked vehicle (requires hardwiring).

With the built-in low-voltage protection, the DR970X-1CH can be hardwired using the included 3-pin Hardwire Cable to get Parking Recording coverage for as long as your vehicle's battery has some extra charge.

BlackVue Cloud is even more accessible by plugging in the optional BlackVue LTE Module, or by pairing the camera to an existing Wi-Fi hotspot signal in (or near) the vehicle.

Installation

The DR770X-1CH Dashcam can either be hardwired to the vehicles fuse panel, plugged directly into a cigarette lighter socket, or connected to a BlackVue parking recording battery (link) for maximum parking recording coverage.

Simple installation: Just plug the dashcam into the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle, using the included cigarette power cable.

Hardwired installation: To enable parking protection mode, use the hardwiring cable to power the dashcam.

The installation process for the DR770X-1CH is identical to the other BlackVue X Series dash cams. Drivercam's mobile dash cam installation service is available in the Auckland region, please make an enquiry for a quote for hardwiring installation.
