Released in December 2022 the NEW B-130X Ultra Battery is the successor to the B-124X Battery.
Compatible with : BlackVue dash cams (970X, 770X, 900X Plus/900X / 750X Plus/750X / 590X), Viofo* (A139 / A129 / 119V3) and Zenfox* (*requires battery to be hardwired)
B-130X Ultra Battery recharges when driving and powers your dashcam when ignition is off. Its sleek compact enclosure houses a large-capacity battery (12.8V / 7,500mAh / 96Wh).
If you are serious about protecting your car while it's parked and your dash cam supports Parking Mode by Motion Detection, this product will be the most comprehensive solution for powering your dash cam while parked.
Fast-Charging: Power Magic Ultra Battery reaches a full charge in 50 minutes when hardwired (90 minutes if connected to the cigarette lighter socket).
Long-lasting: Parking Mode can last more than 30 hours with a single-channel DR900X Plus (19 hours with the dual-channel version).
5V USB (2A max): with its USB power output, you can charge any accessory, such as a phone or a Wi-Fi hotspot to keep your Cloud dashcam connected while in Parking Mode.
Connected: check the battery’s status wirelessly with the free BlackVue App. When charging, the app displays charge percentage, charging voltage and expected remaining time until full charge. When vehicle ignition is off, the app shows the remaining Parking Mode time based on the dashcam’s power consumption.
Fuel Gauge IC via the BlackVue App: the fuel gauge integrated circuit keeps track of electric currents—charge and discharge—over time, to give you the most accurate battery information.
Why invest in a backup battery for parking mode?
Even though a typical car battery has a much higher capacity than Battery Packs, it is not designed for routine deep discharge cycles while the car is parked hence its performance may deteriorate and life is shortened prematurely over time. The BlackVue B-130X Battery works by charging a high-quality lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery while your car is running, and when it's turned off, the charged battery is then used to provide continuous power to your dash cam without the need to draw any power from your car battery. This process is very effective in reducing the risk of battery discharge, low voltage electrical warnings and flat car batteries.

Installation
The Power Magic Ultra Battery supports two charging modes.
Simple installation: just plug the battery into the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle. Charging current: 5A – Charging time: approx. 90 minutes.
Hardwired installation: for the fastest charging speed, connect the battery to the fuse panel. Charging current: 9A – Charging time: approx. 50 minutes.

Cables Explained
- Input 12V/24V Cigarette Plug Charger - Easier for install, however, charges the unit with a lower current of 5 Amps (takes 90 minutes to fully charge)
- Input 12V/24V Hardwire Kit - Allows the battery pack to charge at a higher rate of 9 Amps so it is able to charge the battery in 50 minutes to full (please arrange a car electrician or our Auckland-wide Dash Cam Installation Service to hardwire it for you). Comes with a set of Add-A-Circuit fuse taps for a seamless installation.
- Output Dash Cam Cigarette Socket - This socket is compatible with any BlackVue and the Vico-Opia2 dash cams and, in essence, just a 12V/24V Power Outlet Female socket. If you have a BlackSys or a Thinkware dash cam, we can supply you with a compatible 3-pin spliced cable.
