Explain ADAS in dashcams

Posted by David - DriverCam

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) uses the dashcam's camera and intelligent software to monitor the road ahead and provide real-time driving alerts. Depending on the model, ADAS features may include lane departure warnings, forward collision alerts, front vehicle movement notifications, and speed camera warnings. These features are designed to enhance driver awareness, encourage safer driving habits, and provide an extra level of confidence on the road, particularly during long journeys or in busy traffic.
