The 70mai brand, one of Xiaomi's subsidiaries, is well-known for its range of affordable yet quality dash cams. The D07 Rearview Dash ?am Wide is one of the very few on the market designed to strap onto your car's rearview mirror offering the recording of the road ahead, behind your car and even displaying the picture from the rear camera when you put in reverse in order to assist you with parking.

Being turned off, the dash cam's 9.35-inch screen serves as a rearview mirror but when reversing assistance is needed, it displays the picture from the rear (reversing) camera. Both channels record the footage in the FullHD 1080p resolution and can store the footage on a MicroSD memory card up to 64GB in size (not included). On top of that, the built-in Wi-Fi module allows you to leverage your smartphone's screen by pairing it with the camera. Just install the 70mai app on your smartphone and you'll be able to playback and download your footage or access settings within seconds.

The front camera installation is very straightforward: the camera can be powered off the car's cigarette lighter power outlet or a USB port. Just route the cable around the dashboard and up the A-pillar to your rearview mirror... Done! As for the included rear camera, it can be installed either inside the car and be used only for recording the road behind, or it can be installed outside of the car and be used for both recording the road behind and parking assistance. Please note that for utilizing the parking assistance functionality, the camera requires a little more advanced installation and needs to be hardwired to the backup light of your car allowing the camera to turn into Parking Assist Mode automatically.
