My dashcam keeps beeping

What it means

Your dashcam is warning you that it isn't recording. In most cases, this is caused by a problem with the microSD card.

What to do

1. Check you're using a recommended microSD card, such as a genuine VIOFO or SanDisk Max Endurance card.
2. Format the microSD card using the VIOFO App, the dashcam menu, or by holding the REC button (where supported).
3. If the beeping continues, the microSD card may have reached the end of its life and will need replacing.
