Parking mode transforms your dashcam into a 24/7 security system for your vehicle, keeping watch even when the engine is off. Instead of recording continuously, it intelligently monitors for movement or impact, activating only when something happens — such as a hit-and-run, door dent, or attempted break-in. When you turn off your vehicle, the dashcam automatically switches to parking mode. It stays powered through either a hardwire kit or a dedicated battery pack, allowing it to remain alert while using minimal power.
