The Viofo A119 MINI 2 is the latest upgrade to the recently released A119 MINI. This dashcam now has the brand new Sony Starvis 2 Image Sensor, and also has built in voice control, allowing the user to lock videos, start and stop recording, and turn WiFi on and off to name a few commands.

This 2K front dashcam comes with built in WiFi, voice notifications, GPS logger, option for parking mode (with hardwire install), the ultimate budget friendly front dashcam.

Please note a rear camera cannot be added to this dashcam.

Memory Card, your dashcam doesn't include a memory card, the performance of the camera can be impacted by the quality and size of the card, select from our recommended range of cards, we'd recommend a 128GB or larger card due to the dashcam's 2K quality recordings.

Installation

You can either opt to supply power to the dashcam via the included car charger that plugs into your car's cigarette lighter or you can hardwire into your car's fuse panel using the Viofo hardwire cable kit (HK4).

Good so far!

Good so far. Good quality and great to have wifi connectivity

So good I bought a couple more...

This is really just an addendum to my first review in which I stated that this was the best dash cam I have owned so far given the features, quality, reliability and price point.

Just wanted to add that due to those qualities, I was that impressed that I bought a couple more and will be purchasing at least another one for my parents car because it's also so simple to operate that even they can operate it.

Best Dash Cam I've Owned So Far...

Quite simply the best dash camera I have owned.

I've had a number of lithium battery based dash cams over the years which have all died due to heat issues. I have since learned that super capacitors are much more durable and heat resistant than lithium batteries.

As we now have an additional vehicle, I wanted to buy another super-capacitor based dash cam. - I didn't need anything too flash. - Just a front facing camera with good resolution and clarity as well as GPS and a screen for a reasonable price.

I ended up buying a Uniden 45R as it had all the above features. - However it turned out to be a complete lemon for reasons I won't go into.

After that I did more research and discovered the Viofo brand & settled on the A119 Mini 2 as it had all the features I needed, plus a few more.

Having now been using it for a few days, I am mightily impressed. - It is very discreet and reliable. The image quality is excellent (I also bought the optional circular polarizer which is excellent). It connects easily with the Viofo app on my iPhone (and the app is easy to use and works flawlessly). I also REALLY like the fact that the gps unit on the front of the unit doubles as the power input and stick on point to the windscreen, and the main unit can slide off without you having to remove the USB power cable.

This camera meets all my requirements and has an additional couple of nice features that I really appreciate, all for a very reasonable price.
