2. Low Bitrate Recording

3. Auto Event Detection

Supported by a buffered function, once moving objects are detected, the camera will automatically start recording and will save the footage from 15 seconds before and 30 seconds after the event.

Vehicle Battery Protection

The dash cam offers two methods to prevent battery drain in parking mode.

• Preset Time or Voltage - The camera automatically stops parking recording based on preset recording duration or voltage cutoff.
• Hardwire Kit Low Voltage Protection - The hardwire kit will automatically cut off power supply when it detects a low voltage.

Loop Recording & Auto Emergency Lock 

A329S supports seamless loop recording, automatically overwriting the oldest videos with the newest ones. With the built-in G-sensor, the dash cam will automatically lock the footage in case of collision or crash, replaying the accident scene for investigation.

Upgraded USB 2.0 Port - Connect your Phone, Grab Your Videos

The dashcam supports seamless connectivity to your smartphone via a USB 2.0 Type-C to Type-C data cable, enabling superfast downloads of photos and videos. Specifically, the download speed is up to 20MB/s on iPhone 16. This direct connection also facilitates effortless firmware updates, ensuring prompt access to the latest features and optimal performance.

A229 Ultra features a state-of-the-art Quad-Mode GPS module which supports 4 satellite positioning systems (GPS, BEIDOU, GALILEO, and GLONASS), greatly improving positioning accuracy and stability. It provides detailed location, speed, and time data of the vehicle when playing back the video on VIOFO App or computer.

Dual Type-C Car Charger

The alternative to the hardwire kit is the 45W car charger (note this power cable option doesn't support parking recording), featuring supercharging capability, comes with two Type-C ports for dash cams and other mobile devices, offering great practicality. It is also designed with an indicator light for enhanced convenience when used in the dark.

Circular Polarizing Lens (CPL) - Effectively reducing the impact of glare & reflections 

A CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter is available for both the front and rear camera lens and can be used to reduce reflections and glare off glass and road surfaces, bringing improved image clarity and contrast.

VIOFO Storage Capacity

Dash cams require a memory card that can withstand heavy writing cycles. A high-endurance card, designed especially for heavy use and write-intensive applications, is extremely critical for dash cam recording. Cheap cards are the main cause of most unexplainable recording issues, have poor performance in non-stop writing endurance, and are less likely to withstand harsh conditions. We stock the full range from 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 512GB high performance U3, A2, V30 memory cards writing up to 90 MB/s and reading at 100MB/s letting your dashcam shoot with ease and transfer with ease. 

We'd recommend getting the largest card your budget will allow as less frequent overwrites improve the cards longevity. It is also beneficial to have the option of 'hindsight' by storing more hours of footage in case you want to look back at footage that isn't locked, for example, when the Police ask for footage.

Bluetooth Remote Control (Optional)

The Bluetooth remote control can be positioned in a convenient location for safe and easy use while driving. Pressing the middle button will instantly protect current video clip and image. The two buttons on the side can be customized to set different functions.

You can provide power to your dashcam by either the cigarette lighter, USB-C port or your car battery using the hardwire kit. 

For parking mode to be enabled this requires either the hardwiring of the camera to your 12V accessory battery using the HK4 hardwire kit or using a dashcam battery pack (select this from the drop options down above).
