Released in March 2023 the DR770X-2CH TRUCK is the successor to the DR750X-2CH TRUCK Plus. An upgrade to the CPU provides an improvement in image quality over the 750X-2CH TRUCK Plus, offering clearer details in challenging lighting conditions.

The DR770X-2CH TRUCK front and rear dashcam system that has an external waterproof rear camera designed to be mounted externally on heavy vehicles.

The waterproof infrared rear camera connects to the front unit via an included 15m video cable. Depending on the mounting position, there is potential for the rear camera to monitor not only the road behind, but also cargo loading and unloading operations.

This dashcam comes with built-in GPS, Wi-Fi and native Parking Protection Mode support via included hardwiring cable.

60 Frames Per Second Video Recording: The front-facing camera records extra fluid videos at 60 frames per second, keeping all details sharp even in fast action. With 60fps, motion blur is much reduced compared to 30fps. That means your BlackVue can better capture details, like license plates when travelling at speed.

Rugged Waterproof Rear Camera: With its metal waterproof casing the rear camera of the DR770X-2CH TRUCK is built to withstand most weather conditions. Its Ingress Protection rating (IP69K) means it can even sustain power washing. It is designed to be installed at the rear of trucks or heavy vehicles. We recommend securing it in place on a flat surface using the provided screws. The luminosity sensor detects ambient brightness and automatically activates the six infrared lights to help identify vehicles and objects in the dark.

Wi-Fi: Download videos to your phone at blazing speed. Wi-Fi also lets your BlackVue connect to BlackVue Cloud via any home or mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (router).

GPS: Visualize the location of your vehicle on the map during video playback and overlay speed on videos (can be hidden in settings).

Built-in Impact & Motion Detection: While driving, the built-in accelerometer (G-sensor) detects impacts and sudden changes in speed. While parked, your BlackVue also detects visual movements around your vehicles (in Motion + Impact detection mode).

Parking Protection Mode: Using the included hardwiring cable, you can enjoy peace of mind knowing that your car is under protection while you are away. The dashcam automatically switches into Parking Mode to monitor your parked vehicle (requires hardwiring).

Event Files Overwrite Protection

Dashcams record in a loop but DR770X-2CH can prevent the overwriting of up to fifty (50) Event files (triggered manually or by impacts). You can choose to allow new Event files to overwrite past Event files, thus keeping the latest fifty.

Adaptive Format-Free File Management

Developed by BlackVue, this file system improves recording stability and reduces the need for microSD card formatting, while giving you the flexibility to change recording time unit (1/2/3 minutes) and quality settings.

SD Card Failure Alert

Your BlackVue detects as soon as the microSD card fails and warns you with a “Please check SD card” voice alert.

Installation 

The DR770X-2CH TRUCK Dashcam can either be hardwired to the vehicles fuse panel, plugged directly into a cigarette lighter socket, or connected to a Blackvue parking recording battery (link) for maximum parking recording coverage.

Simple installation: Just plug the dashcam into the cigarette lighter socket of your vehicle, using the included cigarette power cable.

Hardwired installation: To enable parking mode, use the hardwiring cable to power the dashcam.
