The BlackVue DR770X-2CH II dashcam is a Full HD Front Camera with Full HD Rear Camera. Released in 2025 the BlackVue 770X-2CH II brings further refinement to the 770X-2CH.

Full HD Front & Full HD Rear 

• Full HD (2.1 megapixel resolution) with Sony STARVIS image sensor in the front camera, recording at 60 frames per second and; 
• Full HD (2.1 megapixel resolution) with Sony Starvis in the rear camera recording at 30 frames per second

          Please note this camera does not have Sony Starvis 2 image sensors. 

Parking Mode - 2 Surveillance Modes 

Motion Detection Mode: records a 1-minute buffered video whenever a motion is detected by the front or rear camera. Motion detection areas can be set manually in the app.

Time Lapse Mode: records constantly at 1 frame per second so each 1 minute video covers 30 minutes of real time. Recommended if you routinely park in busy areas.

Pre-impact recording: in both modes, the dash cam also records buffered Event clips in case of impact. That means 1-minute clips that start 10 seconds before the detected impact.

Please note the camera will need to be installed using the included hardwire cable to connect to your vehicles fuse box to provide a power source for parking recording.

• Tagged recordings: All recordings tagged with your GPS location, time and speed which can be visualized on Blackvues App’s map plus also Blackvue Web Viewer (PC/Mac).
• Event recording: Detects and records driving impacts, parking impacts, sudden acceleration, hard braking, sharp turns, and overspeeding using the built-in G-Sensor and GPS.
• Like every dash cam, DR970X Plus II constantly records in a loop. When the microSD card storage is full, older clips are automatically overwritten by newer footage. With its Event File Protection function, DR970X Plus II ensures that critical footage is not overwritten by normal driving clips.
• Free Blackvue App: download footage (ultra fast 5GHz), adjust settings or show/transfer footage to Police at the scene of an accident. Provides instant video evidence when required.
• 2 ways to access your camera - Blackvue Mobile App, Blackvue Web Viewer (PC/MAC free download, using SD card)
• Built-in Wi-Fi (2.4GHz & ultra fast 5GHz) allows you to view live video, change settings, playback and download videos to your mobile device (within a 5 metre range around the car).
• Option to upgrade for 4G LTE CLOUD Connectivity – if you'd like to access your phone remotely and get live notifications you can either add an LTE module to your setup now or in the future or check out the 770X-2CH LTE II model that has inbuilt LTE. 
• How big is it? Front camera - 11.8cm wide x 3.6cm high x 4.7cm deep. 
• Power: 3 options – via cigarette lighter, included hardwire kit, or a parking recording battery pack. 

You can provide power to your dashcam by either the cigarette lighter, USB-C port or your car battery using the hardwire kit. 

For parking mode to be enabled this requires either the hardwiring of the camera to your 12V accessory battery using the included hardwire kit or using a dashcam battery pack.
