By popular demand, these handy fuse taps are now available for purchase separately! Fuse taps can be used to help you quickly and easily integrate most Hardwire Kits (such as the Power Magic Pro or others) into your vehicle's electrical system. No wire cutting or splicing is required!

The fuse taps work by adding a new circuit to your existing fuse box. This is done by "piggy-backing" into an existing fuse slot. You simply remove the fuse from the slot you want to use and put that fuse into the empty slot on the fuse tap. Then insert the fuse tap into the now-empty slot. The existing circuit integrity is not affected and retains its original fuse and functionality. The new circuit comes with its own fuse, so your device and vehicle are safe from shorts or other problems.

How Many Fuse Taps Do I Need?

Prior to installation, please check with your hardwire installation kit to see how many fuse taps you will need. You only need fuse taps for the "positive" wire(s) (not needed for the ground).

• If your hardwiring kit only has one, an accessory (ACC+) or only a constant (B+) wire, then you will need only one Fuse Tap.
• If it has both, an ACC+ and a constant B+ wires, then you will need two Fuse Tap Adapters. You can adjust the quantity once you added it to the cart.

What Fuse Type to Order?

Which add-a-fuse is right for my vehicle? That answer is dependent on the vehicle that you drive. In order to identify what fuse type it uses, please refer to the following guide How To Identify Your Vehicle’s Fuse Type.

Please note that the "Mini" Fuse Tap is also suitable if your vehicle uses the "Low-profile Mini" fuses (but not other way around). You may, however, need a spare Mini Fuse to be placed in the "Car Fuse" holder of the Fuse Tap Adapter.
