Specially designed for motorcycles, the VIOFO MT1 is a dual-channel camera that offers front and rear road recording at FullHD 1080p resolution. Combined with the Sony image sensors, built-in Wi-Fi module, GPS logger, G-sensor, remote control and IP66 waterproof rating, this dash cam is one of the most advanced systems in the motorbike dash camera segment.

Video quality, in essence, is a combination of hardwire and optics, and the MT1 nails both! The powerful Novatek processor allows for FullHD 1080p resolution at 30 FPS while the Sony Exmor R™ STARVIS image sensor on both cameras provide for outstanding light sensitivity. Both lenses have a 170° wide angle which makes it possible to cover multiple lanes and capture more details than ever before, resulting in super sharp image quality and a crystal-clear video.

Thanks to its GPS Logger, the MT1 can record the speed, route data and time (synchronised with GPS time) in the video file allowing viewers to display these data on playback. The system also features built-in Wi-Fi connectivity which together with the intuitive VIOFO apps, allows users to easily view the real-time recording, manage files and change settings using your smartphone.

The MT1 uses loop recording where the oldest footage is overwritten by the newest when the memory card fills up (except the impact-triggered recordings thanks to the built-in G-sensor). There is also an option to start manual recording in an emergency using the remote control which can be mounted in an accessible position to save full evidence. The remote control also lets riders control the Wi-Fi connection and includes a microphone to record audio context. The MT1 includes a 32GB microSD memory card, however, memory can be expanded up to 256GB if required.

Recording Times

The Viofo MT1 comes with the 32GB MicroSD memory card out of the box which is capable of storing around 2.5 hours worth of footage (on the highest video quality settings). If you'd like to keep more footage, you can add a more capacious option in the drop-down menu above.
